What is it?

Comedy duo and fast-rising stars of the neocabaret scene, EastEnd Cabaret, are bringing their five-star Edinburgh Fringe debut, The Revolution Will Be Sexual, to Dalston.  They will be performing at the Arcola Theatre’s pop-up performance space in November.

Exiled from a distant corner of the Eastern Bloc, salacious Soviet diva Bernadette Byrne (Jennifer Byrne) and her freakish musician accomplice Victor Victoria (Victoria Falconer-Pritchard) lure the audience into a strange world of pilfered propaganda, intimate tales, satirically subverted classics from Kurt Weill to the Kings of Leon, and their own darkly comical songs.

Armed with accordion, musical saw, a suitcase of Bolshevik sex puppets and an irresistible penchant for the risqué, the debauched duo have shocked, aroused and entertained audiences across the UK, Europe and Australia.
