A monster week of ghoulish events at Barts

What is it?

This Halloween speakeasy bar Barts presents Monster Week, a string of haunting happenings taking place from 25th to 29th October.

Starting on 25th October from 9pm with Barts’ Music Box Presents: ‘The Curious Jules & Miss Fee’.  On a night where good meets evil, Julia Birkinshaw and Fiona Culley will provide sweet vocals, scary sing-a-longs and ghoulishly great Halloween events at Barts speakeasy bar in Chelsea, London original tracks, perfect to kick off your Halloween festivities.  Heaven meets hell and country meets gangsta rap on this Hallow’s Eve of obligatory fancy dress.

Continuing the ghoulish theme, Barts Hendrick’s Book Club presents ‘Ghost Stories’ by Roger Clarke, its most chilling book club yet on Wednesday 26th October.  Just in time for Halloween, Roger will be talking through famous hauntings that have obsessed the world for centuries.  Join them if you dare for this ghoulish talk, pumpkins from 7pm with the talk starting at 7.30pm.

To conclude the week, Uncle Barts invites you to The Yelloween Masked Soiree on Saturday 29th October in association with Veuve Clicquot.  Bring your capes, masks, top-hats and anything haunting for a hair-raising night of Halloween spookery from 6pm.  Who knows which ghouls Halloween events at Barts speakeasy bar in Chelsea, London will be conjured up by the end of the night…?  To attend RSVP ellie@barts-london.com.

Barts is a quirky ‘speak easy’ style bar on Sloane Avenue in the heart of Chelsea.  It was voted the 21st best bar in the UK in the Independent newspaper’s recent Best 50 Bars supplement and is the brainchild of Duncan Stirling and Charlie Gilkes.  It is well loved for its great and innovative cocktails and sense of fun.
