By Caroline King - September 22, 2011Posted in : Theatre

Merry Wives of Windsor at Charles Cryer Studio Theatre When: 29th September – 1st October 2011 at 7.45pm

Where: Charles Cryer Studio Theatre, Carshalton High St, Carshalton, Surrey SM5 3BB

What is it?

Rough Mechanicals production of William Shakespeare’s Merry Wives of Windsor, which is part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 2011 Open Stages project.  This version of Shakespeare’s farce is set in Windsor 1952, with Sir John Falstaff’s plans of seduction going awry thanks to jealous husbands, conniving servants, a mad French doctor and of course the women being way too smart!
