Have fun down to the core with English Heritage’s Apple Weekend

When: 17th & 18th September 2011, 11am – 5pm

Where: Audley End House and Gardens, Essex

£: Adults 12.50, concessions 11.30, children 7.50, family ticket 32.50 and English Heritage members go free.

What is it?

This apple weekend visit Audley End’s thriving organic Kitchen Garden and enjoy a variety of apple themed activities, stalls and refreshments throughout the day.  Pick up useful gardening tips, watch demonstrations of traditional country crafts and seasonal cookery and indulge in some of the yummy apple based treats!  Plus, why not bring along an apple from your own garden or orchard for identification by the East of England Apple & Orchard Project – is your apple a lost variety?
