Troop along to Audley End House for WWII: Soldiers & Spies

When: 28th & 29th August 2011 (bank holiday), 11am – 5pm

Where: Audley End House and Gardens, Essex

£: Adults 14, concessions 12.60, children 8.40, family ticket 36.40 and English Heritage members go free.

What is it?

Visit Audley End House aka Station 43 this bank holiday weekend and be transported back to the time of WWII.  Join the troops as they train for battle, learn more about Audley’s secret wartime history and witness an explosive arena display that will set your weekend off with a bang!  Enjoy 1940s music and dance as well as fashion and cookery demonstrations.  There will also be a range of children’s activities including an evacuation and training camp where your little ones will be put through their paces by our sergeant major.
