Medieval Courtly Combat & Time Travellers Go…Medieval

When: 28th – 30th May 2011 (Bank Holiday), 11am – 5pm

Where: Whitby Abbey, North Yorkshire

£: Adults 6, concessions 5.40, children 3.60 and family ticket 15.60.  English Heritage members free.  All children are welcome to join in the Time Travellers Go… events.  An additional £1 will be charged on standard admission for every child, member and non member, to help fund this entertainment activity.

What is it?

Marvel at the medieval knights as they take on the ultimate Knight’s Tournament. Fully armoured and ready to do battle, you can watch knights in hand to hand combat, archery competitions and more. Who will reign supreme and be the victor?  There’s also chance to try your hand at the noble art of archery (small extra charge applies). Plus hands on Time Traveller medieval pastimes and fun and games for all children – young and old!
