What is it?
Following the success of their sell-out debut, School of Pop, Frisky and Mannish return to educate the Jacksons Lane audience with their funny pop pastiches and laugh-out loud musical ‘mash-ups’.
In The College Years, the duo throw down the intellectual gauntlet to present a thesis in pop dialectics. Focusing on collision theory and covering great pairings from Brandy and Monica, to Freddie Mercury and What’s-her-face Operabitch, Frisky and Mannish will tickle audiences’ funny-bones with their hilarious parodies of pop culture’s finest.
The pair have been amusing audiences with their take on pop music since 2008, performing at festivals and venues all over the world including Latitude, Camp Bestival and Lovebox. In 2010, their performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival brought them critical acclaim and a nomination for the Edinburgh Spotlight Best Comedy Award.
Frisky and Mannish have also been nominated for the Chortle Award for Best Music and Variety Act and won the Bring Me Sunshine Award from the Guardian.
