Egg dancing at Blists Hill Victorian Town

What is it?

You can take part in the ‘hunt-the-chick’ competition, following a trail of clues around the recreated Victorian town; join a sing-along in the New Inn Public House and try hands-on workshops as well as watch performances by the world renowned Kaleidoscope Theatre Company.  Come wearing your finest Easter bonnet and take part in the Easter Parade, which starts at 2pm in the Pleasure Gardens; there will be prizes for the best bonnets while everyone taking part receives a small Easter egg, regardless of their age.

The townsfolk will also be trying the unusual pastime of egg dancing; once blindfolded they dance across the street without stepping on eggs that are carefully placed along their route.
