Project Snowflake at the Brockley Jack

By Caroline King - March 24, 2011Posted in : Theatre

Project Snowflake at the Brockley Jack Theatre When: 5th – 23rd April 2011 at 7.45pm

Where: Jack Studio Theatre, 410 Brockley Road, London SE4 2DH

£: 12, concessions 10 (suitable for over 12s)

What is it?

Evcol Entertainment in association with The Jack Studio Theatre presents Project Snowflake.  It’s 2060 and the country is ruled by rules and regulations and an all-seeing government that will stop at nothing to “protect our citizens and our way of life”.  At the Creativity Institute two scientists, Martha and Jeremy, have designed a dream recording machine but the government can’t allow recordings of random embarrassing dreams or scary nightmares.  They want a happy dream recorder, a machine that will make the dreamer dream happy dreams.

In the hilarious and poignant battle that ensues, defending their invention and free thought, Martha and Jeremy discover a lot more than strength of character; they discover a long-lost feeling – a pesky little thing called love.
