Discover extraordinary theatre in London

By Caroline King - March 20, 2011Posted in : Theatre

Frank & Ferdinand by Samuel Adamson When: 30th March — 2nd April 2011 at 5pm & 7pm

Where: The Electric Space, Highbury Studios London N7 8EL

£: 8

What is it?

Frank & Ferdinand by Samuel Adamson is an extraordinary site-specific production performed by a cast of 60 performers aged 12-22 in a disused secret underground location just minutes from Holloway Road tube station.

A war-ravaged town wakes up to discover 130 of its children have vanished overnight.  No-one knows where they have gone.  Only four children remain.  At the heart of the mystery is Sebastian Schmidts – an enigma, a white liar, a music-maker miracle.

Islington Community Theatre is one of the London’s leading grassroots theatre companies, a livewire ensemble of professional theatre-makers and local young people, creating bold, innovative work with people who would never otherwise have experienced live performance.
