Swallow some dark and funny theatre in Throats

By Caroline King - February 14, 2011Posted in : Theatre

Throats by Gerald Thomas at Pleasance Islington When: 18th February – 27th March 2011

Where: Pleasance Islington, Carpenters Mews, North Road, London, N7 9EF

£: 8 – 15

What is it?

A funny, dark and surprising journey through a strange and surreal world. Throats stars an outstanding company of actors and features music from former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones.

Over 33 years, Gerald Thomas has probably worked with more greats of 20th century theatre than any man alive, including Samuel Beckett as his protégée, Jerzy Grotowski, Heiner Muller, Philip Glass, and Peter Brook.

    Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Couldn’t resist checking Gerald Thomas arrival to the UK but empty theatres would have been a better option.
