What is it?
A new comedy that looks at the universal ties that bind families together and those arguments that have a habit of rearing their heads during the most stressful time of the year.
Following previous sell-out performances Something and Nothing return for Christmas 2010 with Dan Hagley’s new play, Miriam on 34th Street. Miriam is taking the trip of a lifetime to the Big Apple. In fact, it’s her first trip abroad and she’s making it to visit her son Michael who has left his life in Birmingham to start afresh in New York with his American bride and newly born baby. Amidst the bright lights and noise of the most exciting place in the world to spend Christmas, Miriam soon realises that the new life Michael has created for himself isn’t quite what she was lead to believe. And that she might have to reveal her own little secret sooner than she thought…
