What is it?

Picton Castle in West Wales is enjoyed annually by thousands of visitors who flock by day to walk in the woodlands and see the abundant variety of plants, flowers and ancient trees.  Soon there will be a rare opportunity for visitors to see the gardens in a completely new light, as for two nights the grounds will be open for a magical illuminated walk.

There will be an enchanted walkway of illuminated trees that visitors can interact with by creating giant shadow projections, talking to a tree or by simply bringing along a torch.  Additional attractions include a whispering tree, a sculpture lawn, interactive sound and light experiences, and musical surprises to delight and entertain.

The evening also includes a colourful bazaar where visitors can savour the delights of good food, spiced wine and unusual stalls.  Maria’s Restaurant will be open for bookings for those wanting to sample a supper of her Spanish cuisine.
