Precious Things at The Old Joint Stock 2nd Sept When: 2nd September 2010 at 8pm

Where: The Old Joint Stock Pub and Theatre, 4 Temple Row West, Birmingham, B2 5NY

£: 5

What is it?

My Little Theatre Company presents Precious Things, a new play written by Lucy Corbett.  A comedy drama about art, ethics and ambition featuring an artist who loved Hitler, a woman who wants to remember him, her brother who wants to forget and a man who likes power.

Precious Things is a family drama, exploring the ways in which history and heritage stray into the present.  The issues of art, ethics and how they relate to one another are explored but not finalised, with the audience left to ponder on their own conclusions.  The play mixes drama with a dark and subtle style of comedy which has become a characteristic of the company.
