The Pedal Paddle Pace triathlon

By Caroline King - July 14, 2010Posted in : Alternative Sport

When: 18th July at 11am

Where: Winchester

What is it?

The Pedal Paddle Pace triathlon is a family charity event, situated in the beautiful Itchen Valley in the heart of Winchester.   It is a different kind of triathlon with competitors cycling for 20km, running for 5km and, instead of the usual lengthy swim, there is kayaking for 2km along the Itchen Navigation Canal.  Cycle Tours UK owner and Winchester resident Christopher Dawson helped establish Pedal Paddle Pace in 2005 and will be raising  funds for the South Hampshire Macmillan Cancer Relief Support.  Why not pop along and give your support?
