What is it?
This Bank Holiday weekend take a trip back to the 1940s as The Northern World War II Association brings over 100 soldiers and civilians to the castle. Watch explosive battle re-enactments and listen to 1940’s music. See demonstrations of Dig for Victory, Ration Book cooking and Make Do & Mend with a series of presentations of the Home Front Civilians. Don’t miss the aerial display on Sunday and Monday of the unique Hurricane bomber.
