St George's Day festival fun

Where: Wrest Park, Bedfordshire

£: 14 adults, 11.90 concessions, 7 children, 35 family ticket.

English Heritage members: 7 adults, 6 concessions, 3.50 children, 17.50 family ticket.

What is it?

Head for the biggest St George’s Day extravaganza in the country complete with dramatic equestrian and falconry displays, children’s theatre, a historic market, a living history camp and a chance to try your hand at traditional games. The highlight of the day will be the traditional battle of wits between St George and the dastardly dragon.
