Head to Jacksons Lane for a double bill of entertainment

By Caroline King - April 10, 2010Posted in : Dance, Theatre

When: 16th & 17th April 2010

Where: Jacksons Lane, 269a Archway Road, London N6 5AA

£: 12.75 (10.75)

What is it?

Aerialist Ilona Jantti and hand balancer Natalie Reckert will perform two intriguing and spellbinding pieces of work.

Muualla/Elsewhere explores animation with live circus by creating a dialogue between the real and the virtual world where shadows morph into new creatures and nothing is what it seems.  For this innovative mix of animation, dance and circus Ilona has collaborated with architect and animator Tuula Jeker, musician Tuomas Norvio and lighting designer Ainu Palmu.

Muualla/Elsewhere is followed by a brand new circus piece, Polar, where extraordinary hand-balancing and playful aerial work fuse with movement and contemporary dance.  Polar is devised and performed by Natalie Reckert and Ilona Jäntti.
