Illuminating Hadrian's Wall

Where: Coast to coast along Hadrian’s Wall

£: Free but ticketed

What is it?

The event starts at dusk at Segedunum Roman Fort, Wallsend, where the first light will be lit.  Lights will then be lit along the wall across to Bowness-on-Solway on the Cumbrian coast.  There will be various events happening to celebrate, such as a parade with participants dressed up and carrying torches.
