What is it?

The Grotto belonged to an 18th Century poet called John Scott.  Scott’s Grotto is a series of interconnected chambers, extending 67ft into the chalk hillside.  The chambers and tunnels are lined with shells, flints and coloured pieces of glass.  Grab a torch, some sensible shoes and have a look around this unusual listed building.
